#WorldFoodDay Pakistan

40 per cent children in Pakistan are malnourished which is badly affecting their mental and physical growth. This serious problem was also part of first speech of Prime Minister Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan.

Pakistan stands at 77th rank in term of achieving food security for its people.  Malnutrition is inadequate intake of calories, minerals, vitamins, proteins and other essential nutrients.  Pakistan being agricultural country and with best and largest irrigation system in the World fail to provide its people with adequate food.  Moreover food wastage is also seen in country where many people are victim of hunger.

Inequalities, no social security, injustice, bad governance all are responsible for food insecurity in Pakistan. Government has to take immediate steps to solve food shortage problem and make young generation healthy.
