A lot has been written about the ride-hailing services in Pakistan.
Talk about the Florida woman almost been kidnapped by her uber driver, or the Karachi girl jumping out of the car to avoid the harassment, women on road can never feel completely safe.
What other options do women have? You might have seen a girl pillion riding, but have you seen one riding solo on a bike? Well, recently a girl made waves on social media for riding a bike on Karachi streets and it brought a smile on many faces.
Girls are now breaking the barriers to live in their comfort and few more girls started to ride a bike (not a scooty).
Whats your thought about it? Is it a step towards a world for women having their comfort or will it increase the harassment cases? Vote and see what other people got to say about it.

Just saying no is not a complete answer. U have to think from all aspects before just saying yes which i think masses do to express there liberal side to the world but these people dont even calculate and identifies the issues , obsticals and dangers that can happen with girls riding bike on daily routine . When i voted no i put my sisters in the situation. We unconditionally compare our society with the western societies but their dynamics and ours are totally different so if girls ride bike there in west that doesnt means they can do it here. We have serious security issues , we have un pleasent infrastructure , we have social and religion norms and restriction. I think its not feasible for girls to ride bikes. Because 1) law and order situation is at its worst condition. 2) its still considered as unethical in socity 3) people who says yes may be just want to enjoy adventures but are bot rational thinker 4) riding bike is backed by riding cycles so even if all variables remains contant girls have to drive well to drive safe 5) gender equality gives equal rights to both genders but we in pakistan gives more respact to women than men thats Y we want women to enjoy services of men and relatives.

I am totally in favor of women riding motorcycles. What we must understand is that some may be doing it out of joy, but many would be doing for the very same reasons men do. It is cheap and affordable, and not everyone in our country can afford to keep a car. It is due to necessity. Many of them can’t afford to travel in rickshaws daily for their commuting needs either, hell! I can’t even afford riksha daily. If they travel on public transport, such as a Hi-ace/Wagon, then it is no ease either and why should they when the opportunity is available as a means of a motorcycle.This step will give women independence, something which the patriarchal society of Pakistan fears the most. The males want the women to be dependent on them only, to move around from one place to another. In most cases, if the male member of the family is not available, or busy, it is the females who suffer. Again, let’s not forget this that not all can afford a car or a driver.

Yes women should ride bike. We girl’s are so dependent on others even for everything they wanna do in their lives like going universities shopping anywhere. Travelling on buses isn’t easy so bike is cheapest solution
things has changed with time, i saw girls in Karachi riding bike.. no one was staring them… it look okay. .. in punjab women ride bike i saw it in news they provide service to villagers

Yes I agree that girls should be allowed to ride a bike. Think of how many of our problems that could be solved. We won’t have to ask our brothers or father for a lift. And we wont have to waste alot of money on Careem or Uber.

Yes girls should ride a bike so that they will not be dependent on their brothers and father.They can do their own work by themselves easily . Then they don’t have to wait for anything they just go and get what ever they want . Some girls go outside for fun only but some go for a specific reasons . Boys think that girls are dependent only on them but I want that girls should not be dependent on anyone . They have to be free to go any where . In my opinion, girls should be permitted to ride a bike. The reason to this is that riding a bike makes many things easy for girls. If a girl rides a bike it’s like an opportunity for them to come at a place where they can earn for themselves . This would release them from depending on others for their needs. A girl who is riding a bike is not all the time characterless she may be helpless too . So as a result according to my views girls should ride a bike .
